By the age of five, Vi started playing the piano and by the age of 15 she was giving lessons from the parlor of the farmhouse.
She was born on a farm near Schenectady to Albert and Hannah (Sullivan) Bergdorf and was the youngest of four children. From her birth in Troy, on to her death on Monday she nourished people around her with love, faith, and music. Lundquist, age 89, died on Monday, Augin the Rachel Circle, a caring and loving community at the Merimac Nursing Home in Rotterdam.
